Here is my wild and crazy nineteen year old on Spring Break.  With her wild and crazy siblings.  This photo was taken while on a really lovely family outing in Central Park.  Our kids indulged us and allowed us to take this photo.  In the background is the place where it all started for them.  Mt Sinai Hospital.

It was a particularly lovely moment in an particularly lovely Spring Break.

I know that it is highly unusual for a parent to talk about the phrase “Spring Break” and use the word “lovely.”

Recognizing how lucky we are, I wrote a letter to my daughter Scout to thank her for the lovely week.
